Samherji’s aquaculture comprises of most aspects of fish farming, i.e. hatching, juvenile production, the ongrowing of marketable fish, harvesting,
packaging and marketing of the products.All of Samherji´s shares in fish farming are owned by and operated through Oddeyri ehf. which is 100% owned by Samherji. The various fish farming operations are situated around Iceland and Oddeyri has also taken active part in fish farming in the Faroe Islands for the last two years.
