Welcome to The Great Fish Day
Samherji welcomes the guests of the Great Fish Day to Dalvik on Saturday 8th August.
The Great Fish day is an annual festival in Dalvík, a community of 2100 people, 45 km. north of Akureyri. As the largest employer in Dalvik we are proud to take part in this special event where Fish producers and other members of the society, invite gests to a sea food buffet between 11:00 and 17:00 at the harbor in Dalvík. Fishing, fish processing and other industries related to the sea are an important factor of the community, among other kind of industry and service. The great hospitality of the people of Dalvik enables everyone to enjoy the various seafood products, produced by highest standards. Last but not least we hope to encourage the young people in Iceland to eat more fish.
