
The school is split into three categories: Work related, personal and recreational education.
Work related education consists of training and specializing for work and/or quality and/or security affairs and is paid in full by Samherji.
Personal education can be general or specialized. The aim is to boost the employee both at work and in society. Samherji pays about 40-60% of the cost and employees can apply for up to 60% from their Union, provided it has not already been fully utilized.
Recreational education consists of hobby/interest courses for the individual employees. Samherji pays up to 50% of the cost of up to two courses per year but there is no limit how many courses each employee can attend.
